What is the Leadership Development Academy?

The Leadership Development Academy is an opportunity to learn about your local history, economy, arts and government. The LDA helps future community leaders of diverse backgrounds and interests gain knowledge and business acumen, skills in building community, and an expansive, professional network with others necessary to assume leadership roles in the rapidly changing public, private and non-profit sectors.

What is the mission of LDA?

To provide innovative, individualized and diverse learning opportunities that allow emerging leaders to experience conemporary theory grounded in current leadership.

How do I join the LDA Program?

Go to our enrollment page and complete the application.

How long is the program?

Program is nine months long. It starts with a two day retreat and then meets once a month on Fridays from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

How much does the program cost?

Tuition for the program is $850.00. Cost is usually sponsored by your place of business. Scholarships are also available depending on your organization.
